西沃恩共产生过25名罗兹学者，这也是国内罗兹学者占学校人数比例最高的学校。西沃恩占地1.3万英亩，位于田纳西州东南部坦布尔高原。一直到二十世纪，西沃恩曾有过牙医、工程、法律、医学和护理学院和一所中学。但由于财政原因，学校最终决定将重点放在两所存在至今的学学院-学院和神学院。 2006年6月，西沃恩开设了Letters学院，学校的第二个研究生院，该学校提供一个文学硕士和一个创新写作硕士学位。
